A Megbízóval együtt a célunk az volt, hogy a jelenlegi épület lehető legkisebb mértékű átépítésével új hangulatú, kellően nyitott, a kerttel és a környezettel térbeli kapcsolatot tartó végállapot jöjjön létre. A beépítés nem változott, a megközelítés módja viszont igen. A jelenlegi aránytalan, nagyméretű előlépcső-tömböt elbontjuk, helyette, a rajzokon látható módon egy egyértelműbb, mégis rejtettebb bejárati megoldást alakítunk ki: kertkaputól egyenesen haladunk a házig, itt lehetséges a bejáraton át való megközelítés, illetve a konyha teraszajtajához is eljuthatunk az új lépcsőn át. Together with our client, our goal was to achieve a refreshed atmosphere with a spatial connection to the garden and surroundings, while making only minimal alterations to the existing building. The footprint remains unchanged, but the approach to the house has been rethought. We’re removing the oversized, disproportionate front stair block and replacing it with a more understated yet clearer entrance solution, as shown in the drawings. From the garden gate, a straight path leads to the house-offering access through the main entrance, as well as to the kitchen terrace door via a new stair. The floor plan contour stays the same, and so do the existing openings, with one exception: a new strip window will be added to the kitchen wall.
